Conservation

Water is not wasted. Water to wash hands is also used to clean dishes. My family and I both have gardens that use water from shower runoff. There are also rain gutters on the roof to catch rainwater and channel it into a barrel. During the rainy season, my host mother puts buckets and water basins outside to catch more water runoff from the roof.
